Acetate

Acetate is a standalone mastering application for electronic music, built by Hong Kong producer Scott Young. It masters tracks and full-length DJ mixes on macOS and Windows, with all processing running locally.

For tracks, Acetate measures loudness, true peak, crest factor and spectral balance, then proposes a processing chain. Every move is shown with its reason and can be auditioned in a sample-aligned A/B preview.

For DJ mixes, Acetate detects transitions, proposes level automation at each mix point, shows the before/after loudness and lets you audition each handoff before export.
